Thrice & Kevin Devine pasted thru Sayerville, NJ last Friday to play a just about sold out show. Thrice is out in support of 2009's Beggars via Vagrant Records. Though their latest album is less then a year old the group is reportedly going to head into the studio in the near future to record yet another album. Their performance on Friday was well recevied and the setlist seemed to please the crowd for the most part except for the absence of "Deadbolt", to which Dustin said "Deadbolt is taking a nap". Kevin Devine played with a full band this past Friday. I feel the backing group really helped Kevin bring his songs to their full potential. As a passive Kevin Devine fan it was definitely great to see his songs in a new light as well as finally listen to his newer material, which I've sadly neglected to check out. Kevin is out in support of the year old Brother's Blood, which was released via Favorite Gentleman. Be sure to pick it up (like I did recently) here.
